My Travel Story
The world is a beautiful place and I want to see it all. I love to see how others live, experience other cultures and see something that I have never seen before. And I also love to hear about other peoples' travel experiences.
One of my greatest travel memories is Kangaroo Island in Australia. Fresh out of college over 30 years ago, I went off to Australia with a working holiday visa. While I did see kangaroos, what I remember most was seeing the beach covered with sea lions seeming to not have a care in the world. They were just sprawled out all over the beach. Then we saw the penguins on the beach. I remember being awed by the naturally-sculpted Remarkable Rocks.
If we were meant to stay in one place, we'd have roots instead of feet. (Rachel Wolchin)
